1. I don’t have problems. You don’t have problems? My God! Do you know what you are
saying? You are telling me that you are not living! Forgive me, but you must be pretty
arrogant, ignorant, and narrow-
2. I can’t be committed. Yes you can! You have it in you to be committed to anything you want, especially if that thing is going to change you for the better. You need to put something in to get something out. You need to commit time, effort, and financial investment.
3. I can’t be devoted. Why not? You can be devoted to anything you want, especially if that thing is going to bring the best out of you. You can apply yourself consistently and devotedly. Of course, this doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have other things to do in life.
4. I can’t think logically. Ha ha ha! You can’t think logically? What a thing to say! Now, you tell me. Can you speak and get yourself understood? Can you write and get yourself understood? Can you do simple arithmetic?
If you can do any of these things, you can think logically. If you can’t think logically
you’ll find it impossible to live in this world. You’ll understand nothing, nobody.
You’ll get everything wrong about life. You might just as well be dead or non-

8. I can’t change. Yes you can! And you will! I promise you. You’ve grown up conditioned to do only the things you like. And these are not usually what are right for you. You must learn new habits, a new discipline in life… the discipline of doing what’s good for you, what’s right for you, yet which you dislike or hate.
This takes painful change, painful because you are going against your natural instincts; you are forcing yourself to do it! As you retrain your mind and reflexes, and recondition your system, this pain will disappear. And be replaced by pleasure, as your system absorbs the new discipline. You’ll be a new person, different and awesome!
